People have to unite someday,
But how to go about it,
   who's to decide?
Each of us individuals
   has the right to say:
"I've been thinking about it
   for a long, long, time."

People hope to pull together,
But as individuals,
   we've  our own right ways,
And accomplish little,
   much easier to
Change everyone else, 
   while we remain the same.

People plan to give and take.
Taking everything
   we feel we deserve.
But giving back nothing
   for anyone's sake.
Being simply selfish with
   a lot of nerve.

People try to find the answers,
And maybe we will
   in some future days.
But better to see those answers
   here around us.
And to grasp them, then  
   we've no games to play.

We are hypocrites with
   a lot of nerve.

People plan to find the answers,
And we say we 
   will in future days.
We don't realize that those answers
  are all here.
If we acknowledge them, we have
   no games to play.
